PALEMBANG, SIMBUR – Awal tahun 2021 diprediksi masih berpotensi hujan lebat dan angin kencang serta munculnya dampak cuaca ekstrem. Hal itu diungkap Kepala Stasiun Meteorologi SMB II Sumsel, Desindra Deddy Kurniawan.<\/p>\n
“Awal 2021 masih ada potensi hujan karena berada pada musim penghujan. Perlu waspada munculnya cuaca ekstrem seperti hujan sangat lebat, angin kencang, puting beliung dan petir,” ujar Desindra kepada Simbur, Kamis (7\/1).<\/p>\n
Terkait hubungan cuaca dengan pandemi Covid-19, Desindra menegaskan pengaruhnya masih tergolong rendah. “Cuaca memiliki pengaruh tapi sangat kecil. Tetap perilaku manusia yang signifikan berpengaruh,” tegasnya.<\/p>\n
Diketahui, BMKG Sumsel merilis ikhtisar cuaca hingga akhir tahun 2020. Dipaparkannya, pada Desember 2020 tercatat suhu udara rata-rata sebesar 27.1 derajat Celcius. Suhu udara maksimum mencapai 34.3 derajat Celcius pada 1 Desember 2020. Suhu udara minimum mencapai 21.8 derajat Celcius pada 23 Desember 2020. “Untuk kejadian hujan dengan intensitas lebat tercatat curah hujan sebesar 85.4 milimeter\/hari yang terjadi pada tanggal 27 Desember 2020,” urainya.<\/p>\n
